Kadek and his wife are extraordinary hosts; attentive, hospitable, generous. The bungalow, grounds, and pool are kept very well, particularly the pool which is a glorious shade of blue/green. The location is further out, away from the relative chaos of Ubud. There is an active temple just at the end of the street, which provides one with the feeling of living amongst true Balinese culture.

I had an absolutely perfect stay at this beautiful property in Ubud. The house itself was spotless, with everything feeling new and well-maintained. The cleanliness and attention to detail were evident throughout the home. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the lovely family that owns the house. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay with hosts who genuinely care about your experience, this is the place to be. Made was an amazing host, let’s start there. He's kind, the place is spotless and well maintained. The construction next door runs from 9 AM to 4 PM. I didn’t find it too disruptive. The hotel is about a 10 minute bike ride from the center, but if you prefer to stay in, you have everything you need. A quality supermarket, Petito, is just down the street, and Pondok Panji has a fully equipped kitchen. I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our 4 days at Nirwa homestay so much and can recommend it wholeheartedly! The room was squeaky clean and the super sweet staff lady was here everyday to keep it that way. Thank you! Everytime you enter or leave the building you get the warmest greeting and good buy you can imagine! The whole family spreads very positive and relaxing vibes and we had a lot of good talks with them. Like others have already said, the homestay is super quiet, but also very close to the center, best of both worlds! Please if you are planning to stay in Ubud, choose this place and book as many nights as you can get! We were sad when we had to leave after 4 days.

The rooms are located in a lush, green garden with coconut trees, squirrels and an overall really calm ambiance. Whilst the street outside is busy, the area of the hotel is nice and quiet. I stayed in a room without a balcony, but the manager Kiki showed me a room with balcony which had a great view over the family djungel. My room was clean, free of any smell and had a nice bathroom. I had everything I needed. There’s also a cute kitchen where you can cook if you like. The location is only three minutes walk to the Yoga Barn, an amazing place in Ubud that offers many classes and workshops. The hotel is therefore an excellent place for yogis to stay, but also for anyone looking for a genuine, family owned and beautiful place to stay. The communication with the hotel manager was faultless, always with quick answers. I had an amazing conversation with Kiki upon checkout, and she is just such a sweetheart and told me the story of the family hotel and the surroundings. I left Mandala Homestay with a rested body, fueled soul and abundant heart. I highly recommend for anyone visiting Ubud✨
