Lost at the end of a road in an ultra quiet neighborhood, under the snow. This guest house offered us an extremely clean room and bathroom, the shared kitchen was very well equipped, and calm was a must at all times. Easy check-in, quick wapp response to question. Very new building, so everything still nice and new. Room was of a good size, everything was very clean. Comfortable beds, great shower. Room has outside door which leads onto a patio. Nice views outside of the mountains and also some horses nearby. Very big and clean shared kitchen area, that also includes a sitting area with couches. Great location, very near Gullfoss waterfall. We did not use the kitchen for dinner, only for breakfast, and it had everything we needed. We were the only guests which made for a lovely quiet stay.

There is a nice hiking trail inside this tranquil eco-village, a great warm up to other more difficult ones.
