Great accommodation! It’s brand new, they just opened a few weeks ago. The owners are incredibly friendly and very helpful overall. Breakfast is very nice with a lot of fresh fruit. Great location, very very close to the beach. The room was impeccable, so clean.. spacious and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here! They will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable! Thank you for taking such good care of us!

I had the perfect stay at Mango House. It's a lovely house tucked behind the road into Talalla with a pretty garden & lovely seating area. The room was very comfortable with a large bathroom, nice bedding & a good mosquito net. It was especially nice to have a desk & chair. Breakfasts were delicious & an extra treat to watch the monkeys on their daily route to the roof tops. The family were so kind and accommodated my early rising for yoga with delicious juices : ) and I met some other lovely guests. They truly made us feel at home and very welcome. I was sorry I'd not discovered dinner was possible until my last night - my friend and I were served a delicious selection of curries. Such a pleasure to meet this lovely family & to share their home. They really cared that you had a good stay. The beach is just a short walk away & great shop nearby too. Great value and a warm welcome for the budget traveller.

The fantastic Madame Mani is the owner and manager of Gurugedare Heritage. She welcomes all guests with open arms and you feel welcome and home immediately. International or domestic breakfast is offered. Lunch and dinner are Sri Lankan dishes with local ingredients. In the vicinity there is Tallalla Beach approx. 1km. 7km away there is the fantastic Hiriketiya Beach a paradise for surfers. (15min by tuk-tuk) Thank you Madame Mani for a fantastic stay. The guest house is in the perfect location, just a couple of minutes to beautiful Talalla beach. The hosts are welcoming and friendly and made a very delicious breakfast and dinner. The room was comfortable and clean and it is great to have a balcony to sit and relax on. Would definitely come back if I was in the area again.

Parasol Dore is a gorgeous gem of a villa, situated on a small and quiet beach near Dickwella. We loved the location, very quiet but within walking or short tuk-tuk distance to Dickwella and Hiriketiya when we felt like “opting in” to those other places. Most of all we loved the staff - everyone - made us feel at home in ways we could never have expected! We are so grateful we could stay here.

The house was located in a beautiful location with an almost private beach and a beside a wonderful juice bar / restaurant run by the owners. Food, drinks and service were 10/10. Highly recommended staying here and it’s a short drive / Tuk Tuk to other touristy locations.

    The hospitality of the family who runs this homestay is incredible. We feel so much home and welcomed there, so that we come to this place year after year. We also enjoyed very much the delicious cooking of our host Anu. She makes a superb rice and curry and for breakfast you have a lot of choices. We recommend the srilankan breakfast. The beach is super near and so you can enjoy a very relaxed holiday there.
