This is my honest opinion. I was in many guest houses and hotels. So, this is one of the best guest house to stay. Very clam ful. Staff best. It is worth the money. Superb. We really enjoyed our visit at this home stay. The owners were very welcoming and really made us feel at home. They made great recommendations for restaurants and places to go around the city and were just really nice to chat to. Breakfast consisted of delicious traditional Sri Lankan food and the home and pool were very clean and well looked after. We would definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka.

Shalom Villa is a home away from home. Nilu and Iresh make you feel welcome right away and help you with all your travel needs. The guesthouse is away from the noisy and bustling center, but within easy reach using the PickMe App for inexpensive and fast transportation. Coffee and tea are always available and shops are in close vicinity. I also liked the stroll down to the river. With so much nature around one might forget to be still in Colombo. I am looking forward to coming back here and enjoy the hospitality. 🙂
