Quiet location, lovely compact room with private outside space and parking. Good self catering with fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. Comfy bed, strong WiFi. Good 15 min stroll to town centre and only 5 miles to beach ⛱ 😎. Great cycle routes. Plenty of good eateries close by.

Absolutely beautiful room and location. The room is located in its own separate section of the house, with a small garden that looks out over the countryside. Great view of the sunset and the only sound we could hear was lovely birdsong. It was spotless and kitted out with everything we could need. Brilliant shower and spacious bathroom, and exceptionally comfortable bed. We didn’t want to leave! The hosts, Marilyn and Michiel, were wonderful. Really friendly, kind and welcoming, and very helpful. Really very nice people. They even supplied fresh eggs from their chickens, and showed us around! They explained local routes, walks and shops, there is a very helpful guide to the area and the room on arrival, and they lent us bicycles to ride in the countryside. It is one of the best places I have stayed in, and would definitely return if I came back to NL. It is so rural and quiet, and yet only a 30 minute bus ride into central Amsterdam.

Great Location to discover Bergen and the surrounding area. The host Pieter gave us a lot of useful tips for eating and some day trips. We had all the amenities that we needed and our dog was also welcome. If we return to Bergen another time, it will surely be at this location

It was a really nice stay- clean, comfortable and in the middle of Bergen with short walks to the shops and restaurants yet a quiet 1st floor flat. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth returning.
