I had a truly wonderful stay at this Kattel homestay. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Everything was perfectly maintained, clean, and comfortable. The surroundings were peaceful, creating the ideal setting for a relaxing day. It was truly a delightful experience, and I would gladly return for another stay.

One of the best stays in our trip in Nepal! We highly recommend to stay here, the house is so lovely and cosy. It is a very traditional Patan home, and the family is so friendly, they will help you with anything you will need. Very nice breakfast and dinner!

Extremely pleasant host Rabina. She was very helpful, courteous and extremely patient. Was proactive with her helpful tips to explore Khatmandu. Their house is very warm and had friendly vibes and the room I stayed in was exceptionally clean and had everything one could ask for. Definatly would recomed it to anyone travelling to Thamel, specially lady solo travellers.

I simply love this place and this family. Shortly after arriving it already felt like home. I had the pleasure to spend one month in this Homestay and I would (and will) come back in a heartbeat. It was my best stay! Very calm and peaceful atmosphere. The staff is so helpful, friendly and nice. Everything was clean. The garden is my love 💓. The restaurant was just perfect - I liked everything what I tasted. The windows views are amazing. Location is perfect just near the buddha stupa and other temples. I really loved this place and highly recommend it.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this family-run guesthouse located near a peaceful river — the sound of the flowing water was so calming, especially after busy days in Kathmandu. The family lives on the property and welcomed us with genuine warmth. Their son greeted us with welcome drinks and later invited us for a lovely morning walk to a nearby temple. His mother prepared delicious breakfasts on the veranda with a stunning view. The whole family was incredibly kind and even invited us to join their son’s birthday celebration and a local festival, which made our stay unforgettable. It’s a quiet and relaxing place with no traffic noise — only the soothing sound of the river. We would love to come back one day! On the photo you can see the family and us. Plus the veranda and the view where we had our breakfast.
