Mike was very friendly and answered any questions I had. The premises are beautiful and calming. There is a communal kitchen and dining room that is very spacious. Air conditioning and TV were very easy to use. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean.

I love interacting with the staff, they are all very friendly and often go the extra mile to ensure your stay is well taken care of. They have answered my every query as best they can, even when they were occupied. The hostel provides towels, which is not often the case in other hostels. They also have female sanitary products, ear plugs, and toothpaste for free. Breakfast includes 3 mini croissants and chocolate spread, with hot chocolate drink. 101% will stay if I return, and will recommend fellow backpacker friends to stay here too.

management is super friendly. the restaurant behind the stay is extremely delicious. value for money, surrounded by morning markets in walking distance, breakfast solved, night market is very close, got lots of nice food. further north got plenty of restaurants. mostly importantly, tourism locations also not too far. definitely will stay here again if i ever stop by this town again.

Fabulous location, great staff, and comfortable, spacious room. My wife and I were particularly impressed with Bruce and Amber who went over and beyond to make our stay delightful. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. It was equipped with a refrigerator and a clothes washer, which we appreciated hugely after being on the road for two weeks. Parking for our car was located just steps away from the main entrance. We appreciated the electronic door locks which eliminated the responsibility of looking after a room key. After conversing with Bruce about where to eat in Tainan, he gave us a list of his personal favourites. We particularly liked his recommendation for finding a vendor for Mango Shaved Ice. On our own, we found a great hot pot restaurant just a two block stroll away. The location of the Syuan Hotel was excellent, being close to the Confucius Temple, Snail Alley and other sites. The superb Tainan Night Market is only a 10 minute taxi ride away; Anping Old Street takes about 20 minutes. Our photos of the room were taken when we departed. The room looked much better on arrival.

The room was a good size and a lot of thought had gone into the decor. Appreciated the bath rather than a shower as well as having a balcony. Really quiet.

We loved everything. The room, the facilities, the location & the staff. They really want to help you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. This property definitely deserves a 10, especially given the price point.
