It has a traditional restaurant, as well as a fully equipped gym with sauna and steam bath. We really enjoyed our stay in Apokryfo. It is a very familiar small hotel in the beautiful town of Lofou. The staff was extremly kind and making sure we have everything we needed. We arrived a bit late on our check in day and the staff even called us upon arrival to check in if we need dinner when we arrive - which we needed and it was delicious! The rooms are very clean and equipped with beautifully selected furniture.

We had the good fortune to book two nights at this accommodation option, but could quite easily have stayed for several more. I initially debated on staying in the town of Troodos, but having visited there during the day, and seeing how busy it was, we were super glad to be able to drive to Treis Elies to enjoy the absolute peace and calm. The unit was super spacious, and very well thought out, with everything you could need being supplied. I loved that a coffee maker (and several pods) was in the unit, and we appreciated the shampoo/conditioner/body wash/lotion provided in the bathroom. One of our favourite memories was enjoying breakfast on the patio, in the morning sun, looking over the wooded valley. That is the best way to start your day!!! We would definitely recommend this accommodation option to other travelers.

When staying at the guest house, guests can use private entrance. I enjoyed the location - it's close to everything. The staff are friendly and helpful. This was my second stay. I was there for two nights, April 4-6 (you can see my previous review), and because all rooms were sold out for April 6, I moved to another hotel close to The Old Town Mansion for a night but immediately reserved for April 7-10. Despite having a few meetings in Cyprus, the great location allowed me to walk around and do some sightseeing before or after my meetings. I've always had a liking for historical buildings, and this hotel served me very well. It seems like the hotel is still undergoing renovation and upgrades. I requested the same room as my first stay. From the window, I can see NYX Hotel and a coffee shop. I enjoy people watching, and there are cars driving through the narrow street by the hotel. I imagine what it would have looked like on a busy day decades ago in this glorious mansion. It's fortunate to pay so little to enjoy this old mansion. The other hotel I stayed at for a night is a 200-year-old mansion just 200 meters away and is very high-tech inside my room. That hotel is very charming, so is the owner. In comparison, The Old Town Mansion has all the basics, comfortable enough for me to rest and have a hot shower. I appreciated the room amenities like the kettle, the quiet and functional AC (cool and heat), and the soundproof window. Overall, excellent value for money.
