I have stayed for 2 nights in the starlight hostel and I absolutely enjoyed it! The hostel is located in the beautiful village of the Quilotoa Loop. The view from the hostel is just stunning, the food delicious, the blankets are warm, the owners and workers such nice people. I absolutely recommend you to stay there to see how the sunset lights the mountains and clouds come to the valley. Gracias por el lugar tan hermoso!

Hostal Doña Clarita Inn se encuentra en Chugchilán y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Algunas unidades disponen de balcón y/o patio con vistas a la montaña o al jardín. We liked everything! The people there are super cute and helpful, the rooms are super comfortable and well thought through and the food is just incredible! For all the vegetarian hikers, I wouldn’t even think one second and book this place again - it was the best vegetarian food I have eaten in south america :)

This place is not as famous as the Llullu Llama Lodge but it offers the same quality and friendly atmosphere! The hosts (2 sisters) were super friendly, they lit the fireplace even though we were the only guests. The food was delicious and the portions were huge!

Incredibly friendly family who all go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and happy. We ate delicious food, received loads of local knowledge of places to visit, and slept very well in their comfortable beds. The shower is next level.

Hostal Sendero de Volcanes se encuentra en Latacunga y dispone de jardín, terraza, bar y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Javier and his family were so accommodating. I needed to use a computer at a cyber cafe, and Javier offered to let me use his laptop for the morning because he wasn’t using it. Really great service.

Hostal Café Tiana se encuentra en Latacunga y dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Se ofrece parking privado por un suplemento. Increible relación calidad-precio, las instalaciones están muy buenas. Mucha información sobre el Quilotoa loop, se puede dejar tu mochila por $1 por noche.

Hosteria Alpaka Quilotoa está en Quilotoa y tiene jardín. Este hostal o pensión de 2 estrellas tiene wifi gratis, cocina compartida y salón de uso común. María and her husband run the hotel. They were lovely from the beginning to the end. She is a very gifted chef and will cook delicious meals for you while you stay there. Quilotoa itself seems to be going through a boom of people opening hostels and restaurants, we visited during low season and hence it seemed that the town was half empty. Prices are ridiculous cheap for what you can get. Our room had a king size bed, a little fireplace that warmed us through the night and a private bathroom with boiling water- everything that you can wish after a good day of hike. While in there we hiked Quilotoa rim, but also did the short hike to the bottom of the crater and back. All free hikes. Highly recommended to visit and to stay in this hostal. It’s conveniently place right by the entry of the town.
