The location and view from the room was spectacular. We had an easy short walk into town and it was lovely. The breakfast was fantastic and our hosts were kind, personable, and helpful.

The facility is modern, immaculate, with quite huge rooms looking out over the town. Nice beds, linens, and bathroom. The pool is ingenious and worth using. The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. It’s fine not to have breakfast included because there are great coffee spots down in town. The walk to and from town is very short, and driving down takes three minutes with lots of parking for non-walkers.

Amazing guesthouse that I will qualified like luxury. Even better than the pictures! It was impressively clean, well decorated, a 5 stars hotel bed, and a palace level breakfast. In addition, the staff was so lovely and the view incredible. They even offer cake and coffee/tee during the day, what more could you ask for?!

My friend had a BDay on the day of our stay at Bothar Pub, I asked for a cake to be delivered and everything was there, even with Birthday singing, it was amazing. The rooms at An Portan are all at ground floor level and are arranged in a courtyard style. Each room has its own entrance door, en-suite bathroom,TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Geraldine was absolutely amazing from our arrival to our departure and everything in between. great place, beautiful setting and warm hospitality!

The property was very homey and well taken care of. good shower in our room. the owners were exceptionally nice. breakfast in the morning was delicious. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our quick stay and would stay again if ever back in Dingle.
