The food was exceptional also possibly some of the best I had in morocco. The staff were amazing, especially Omar. They were very patient with my poor french skills as they did not speak English well. However, it was no problem as everyone was so welcoming and friendly! The garden and property were so beautiful. One of the best places I stayed in morocco and would have stayed longer if i didn't have a schedule. Definitely stay here if you are in Zagora!

In some units there is a dressing room for guests to change in. This is a beautiful place quietly located a couple blocks from the main square. I really enjoyed watching the sunrise and enjoying a delightful breakfast from the rooftop balcony. This place radiates a warm and welcoming appeal and I found the bed very comfortable. Although I don't speak French or Darija, we were able to communicate effectively (partly with a translation app) and he was extremely hospitable and accommodating. I also found the area very nice to explore on foot and met many very friendly people around the city.

The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. This is a stunningly beautiful hotel in an equally stunningly beautiful location. The exceptional design of the building conveys a relaxed ambiance that also keeps the building cool throughout the midday heat. The staff is great as is the food. The balcony is a great place to watch the sunrise and have breakfast. The surrounding area from the mountains, farms, historical sites and villages gives great opportunities for hiking around. I would highly recommend this kasbah.

Featuring city views, Kasbah Maktob Tamnougalt in Agdz provides accommodation and a garden. The property was built in 1933 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The guest house features a restaurant serving African cuisine, as well as free WiFi throughout the property. Incredible experience! Most of the kasbah (fortress) were in ruins and abandoned, except for a few guesthouses and families staying here. Yet in such an abandoned place, you get a beautiful, traditional room with AC and comfortable beds. Shared bathroom with hot shower. Mustafa the owner was so lovely and welcoming, he did such an amazing job with the property. It’s a much more quiet Kasbah than the very touristic Ait Ben Haddou, but no less impressive in our opinion.

The guest house has a terrace and views of the garden, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. The property and rooms were lovely, beautiful design and attention to detail, many interesting artifacts and carved furniture. The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. The food and tea were delicious and we had dishes we had not tried elsewhere in Morocco, so that was a nice surprise. The location is great; we had a nice walk through the palmerai and also over to the kasbah where the grandson of the Quaid gave us a tour. I would highly recommend Dar Jnane to others.

The owner and staff were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful (made sure we were comfortable, showed us where to go for walks and arranged trips for us). It’s a short walk from Zagora centre but a nice quiet place to relax away from the bustle of the town.
