We had an amazing experience. The staff was very kind, helpful, and welcoming - I’ve never seen such great service before. Because of this, we decided to stay one more night in this beautiful city. The rooms were fresh, very clean, and had a nice, authentic design. They had everything we needed, even a tea set with sweets. It was perfect! The rooftop had a beautiful view. A big thank you to Mohammad for his great hospitality! We would love to come back!

The owner’s brother, Faisal, was very kind and helpful. He even drove us to a beautiful newly opened museum. His hospitality, so famous for Omanis, was fabulous.

He took the time to share fascinating stories about the history of the area, his traditional Omani house (over 200 years old!), and his beautiful farm and fruit fields. He also gave us plenty of helpful tips and recommendations about things to see and do in the region and across Oman. If you’re looking for a genuine experience in a charming and peaceful setting, we strongly recommend staying at Ahmed’s guest house. It was a highlight of our trip
