As it was low season we got a room upgrade to the double room instead of the twin room which was highly appreciated. Very nice room and perfect location from where you can oversee old Al Hamra. Nice rooftop terrasse to watch sunset/sunrise. Jebel Shams is just 1h 10 mins from here so can easily be done as a day trip. Owner was very kind and showed us the entire property. Around the house you can find some really cute goats.

It was a wonderful stay in Emina's guesthouse. Located in the old town of Haram, a small village, the property is a wonderful architectural gem with a fantastic roof terrace and great panoramic views of the mountains. The food is very lovingly prepared, I loved enjoying breakfast on the terrace. The room is beautiful, there are warm blankets, a very nice bathroom (with hot water) and I like the mix of modern and traditional. I was particularly impressed by the traditional beamed ceiling. The accommodation is easy to reach, there is a car park and is ideal for hiking or strolling through the beautiful (and huge) palm park that is directly adjacent. The accommodation is very safe and my every wish was met. An ideal place for travelers who want to stay in an authentic place. 5 stars and best wishes to Emina! Alqalah Inn está en Al Ḩamrāʼ, a 44 km de Fuerte de Nizwa, y ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado. La persona q nos atendio fue super atenta y amable. Nos explicó los lugares a visitar y nos ofreció su ayuda en todo momento. Las habitaciones son exoticas y confortables y está todo muy limpio. En resumen un lugar para recordar. Volveremos Al Alqalah.

Misfah Heritage House, que cuenta con jardín, terraza y vistas a la montaña, se encuentra en Misfāh, a 49 km de Fuerte de Nizwa. Hamed was a great host, that invited us for a guided tour through the village, was very nice. Dinner was excellent!

We had a wonderful stay at Ahmed’s guest house. Ahmed is an exceptional host — welcoming, generous, and passionate about sharing the beauty of his village and his country. Despite it being the low season, he greeted us warmly and made us feel truly at home. He took the time to share fascinating stories about the history of the area, his traditional Omani house (over 200 years old!), and his beautiful farm and fruit fields. He also gave us plenty of helpful tips and recommendations about things to see and do in the region and across Oman. If you’re looking for a genuine experience in a charming and peaceful setting, we strongly recommend staying at Ahmed’s guest house. It was a highlight of our trip

El Al Misfah Hospitality Inn está situado en la localidad de Misfat Al-Abriyeen, en el estado de Al-Hamra, a unos 200 km de Mascate. La situación y sobre todo el decor del hotel, incluyendo el de la habitación El hecho que la cena está en la terraza de arriba del hotel de donde hay una vista muy buena También el hecho que Abdulah el dueño, te hace sentir como estás en casa Su visita guiada gratuita a la casa de su abuelo vale la pena

There is a shared Kitchen which is well-equipped. The best thing is the hist who gave us a lot of travel advice and excellent recommendations which made our trip even better.
