The staff were super helpful on arrival and showed us where to eat, wash-up, relax, bathrooms and the room. Despite other reviews, we found it really clean and very well organised. It's a nice touch that there are spaces to leave your food labelled (pens and stickers provided) and then 'free' food for those who don't need it for their onward journeys. We were not on a hike or bike tour, but there were washing and drying facilities available and secure bike storage. I've not stayed in many hostels, but this was a step up from what I expected. Heard no evidence of other guests after 10pm or before 7am despite what seemed nearly a full house using the breakfast room in the morning. Either good soundproofing or a well-behaved set of guests. The only overnight noise was from the stags and highland cattle.

Had a great stay here. The room was lovely, much more spacious than expected. Bathrooms were clean and enough so we weren't waiting long if at all, kitchen had plenty of facilities. Staff were so friendly. The local gym is on site which was a bonus with a few machines, squat rack, and free weights area for a decent workout.

Ratagan Youth Hostel is has a lochside location with views towards Skye. Free WiFi is provided.

The location has astonishing views, very beautiful, calm, peaceful just in front of the lake. Everything was extremely clean and well mantained, the rooms, the bathrooms and the community kitchen & living room. The staff was excellent warm and friendly, explaining and recommeding routes and places to visit, to have dinner or whatever you may need. I highly recommend this hostel for many reasons location, wonderful staff, shared areas, level of cleaning and views.

Beautiful places with beautiful people. I stayed for 2 weeks in this hostel and I had a really nice experience. The staff is so great and friendly, always willing to help and share. The installations are regular cleaning and the place is very comfortable. It is the perfect place to stay in Broadford.

Great bunkhouse in a stunning location. We had the place to ourselves so the children had a great time ! Pam was very kind and helpful providing us with info on places to visit and finding some highland cows…thank you !
