This is the best hostel we've stayed in during all of our Japan trip. Staff/hosts are exceptional, absolutely welcoming people. They speak English pretty well (which is rare in Japan). The bar is super nice and a great place to meet travellers or chat with the staff. The rooms are very comfortable. The owner's recommendations of where to go and what to do are SUPERB, this is worth gold. We absolutely loved it here. Thank you Mako & crew for having us! :-)

Great place, very close to peace park, nice rooms, breakfast included, lounge area in the lobby, nice shopping area nearby with a variety of food options. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting hiroshima as a tourist.

The people who work are very kind and helpful people. There is a nice restaurant on the first floor of the hostel. There are resting and working places and games on the second floor. The room I stayed in, the toilet and the bathrooms are really clean. i will stay here again when i come to hirosima again. thank you for everything..

The shared / common areas are wonderful. The rooms are big with AC. In the common areas there is so much space to eat, enough tables for multiple people to sit at and eat together that it doesn’t feel crowded. The seating in the living room is very good too. One of us spent a day drawing there without any disturbance. It is possible to microwave, toast, grill, cook your own food. There are enough dishes, bowls, cups for everyone, also knifes, cutting boards, pans, pots, and there’s a rice cooker, a microwave and plates. There’s a shared fridge with enough room. Hot tap water 24/7. For families: diapers, toys, play area provided. For teens: shelves full of manga as room separators. A ping pong table. 5min away from tram. 30 minutes public transport to insanely beautiful shrine & temple island Miyajima. Vending machines. Free amenities from toothbrush to toner to shaving equipment to combs for free. ROOFTOP! It’s just amazing to sit there and admire the ocean view. Sunrise & sundown over the sea! The staff was awesome and helpful, we could put stickers on a map with our countries. Big, big YES. We recommend it ! Car parking also available for a fee. We loved all about it.

Thank you so much for the amazing days I had here. The staff became a good friend by the end of my short stay and I really enjoyed my time in Hiroshima. He really makes this hostel feel welcoming and it's easy to make friends here. The separate room for women, the bathroom and the kitchen were also nice and clean. The rooms are nice and very silent.
