As usual in Sri Lanka, I've been hosted by very kind people who welcomed me with a nice and refreshing lemon juice. They'll do everything they can to make you comfortable. 10 minutes from the rock and his temple, not far from a nice lake. That's a good walk to do in early morning to be fool of good vibes and start a nice day in touch with nature. Here you can take your dinner and rent a bike, and receive good advices to plan your visits around. I had the chance to have the all dormitory for me, great !

The Evergreen Resort is located Outside the City, still all Sightseeing and Temple visiting you can reach in a short time by car. The included Food was fantastic, traditional Sri Lankan Breakfast and Tea in the Morning and at Night, the owner lent us bicycles and told us the best places around to see. It‘s located in a very quiet calm place sorrounded by the owner‘s Garden and forests....the room has a nice clean bathroom and his own terrace.

Beautiful property, kind owners, the best ice cream, delicious dinner! We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it! Everything was perfect! So many birds in the garden like peacocks and green parrots! We even got to see Sri Lanka’s national animal!
