I stayed for a total of 12 days. I felt at home, the facilities are very good, and the location is perfect. A hostel with a lot of social life. It had only just opened its doors and we were met with the warmest welcome from the manager who couldn’t do enough for us. Always went out of his way to accommodate us - sharing extra phone data with us, allowing late check - out due to work commitments, updating us to the air-con room because the fan room was under renovations but with no extra charge. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you so so much

I had the loveliest stay at Early Birds! It’s so close to the beach and the dorm was really nice- all the beds have curtains and the mattress is super comfy. The hosts are really friendly & welcoming and taught everyone some local games! Also, the breakfast was some of the BEST food I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka!!

The best beach view hostel in Arugam Bay. Direct sea view room with balcony and hammock. Friendly staff and quick services. Wonderful restaurant services and you provided tasty foods (Breakfast, Juices, Dinner). The welcome drink was delicious. Good speed WiFi connection. Clean and comfortable bedroom and bathroom. Comfy bed. We used bathroom toilet paper and soap. Nice location and Value for the stay.

I had the best time in the Long Hostel. Harald and his wife are lovely and make sure that everybody feels welcomed and good. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the prices for food and drinks are totally fair. But most importantly the vibe in this hostel is awesome - very easy to get connected and to feel comfortable. This is probably why everybody including me just keep extending their stay there because they didn’t want to leave. Probably one of the best Hostels I stayed in.

This is the best surf hostel i've ever stayed in after trying so many, it's super clean and the people are very friendly also just a pass to the other side of the street to the beach. wouldn't recommend anywhere else. Value for money is 10/10

A very social hostel with a great atmosphere and a great staff. The manager is very kind and helpful, he gives us many tips on things to do on the area and takes us to surfing lessons in the morning if we want. In the evening we all gather around a tasty family dinner cooked by the staff. There's even a skate park in the hostel ! Good location at 15min by walk from town-center and close to several beach in a quiet stress ! Bathrooms and dorms are clean with fans above each bed or AC. I highly recommend this place !
