"Had an amazing stay at Alma Boutique Hostel! The cleanliness and new facilities were top-notch - it's clear the hostel takes pride in its upkeep. The owner was proactive and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly. The only minor thing I noticed was that some light seeped into the room, particularly in the upper dorm, despite the shades. This might be a bit disturbing for some guests. Other than that, I'd give Alma Boutique Hostel a solid 10/10. The pros far outweigh the cons, and I'd highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-managed place to stay. Great job, Alma!"

The vibe was very good. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with anything. The food was also delicious. The quality-price ratio was worth it. The location is quite close to where you need to change your license to drive on your own in Sri Lanka and you also have car rental locations quite close.

What a lovely place!🥺 The staff is very kind and helpful, and the room is clean, safe, and spacious. The maintenance is superb—we loved the large lobby area. The hospitality is outstanding, and I truly appreciated it. They are equally kind to both locals and foreigners. The best part is that I had a chance to support their prevention programs, as they use the hostel’s profits to fund these initiatives. That means a lot to me. I basically love everything about this place! Very nice neighborhood (quite yet easy to connect to downtown), sparkling clean facilities, host willing to accommodate every need you may have… and comes up with ideas - my stay here was perfect! Additionally, a great bonus is that after booking they provided detailed information consisting of how to get around, what is the price structure etc and a lot other, extremely useful advices. Thanks to that it’s easy for you to avoid being scammed. The atmosphere of hostel feels like home, truly! That is the place to be in Colombo! :)

This place has such an amazing atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, and everyone is having such a good time everywhere, you literally don't need to leave the hostel to have fun. It is very close to the beach, which is not crowded at all. The free vegan dinners 3 days a week are also amazing, so was the karaoke night!

Perfect location, amazing staff and facilities. Stayed when I first arrived to Sri Lanka and on my last night in the country. They kept a large luggage safe for me while I travelled around the country with a light backpack. Thank you
