In general I had THE best time there.

I stayed at this hostel/hotel for 5 days, I was in a dorm and I can say the most comfortable bed ever! It was clean and brand new with big lockers, AC and a big fan with toilets and bathrooms inside each room and a beautiful balcony over the patio where you have many animals coming every day like monkeys and macaws! The people working there are the best 💚 It also has a restaurant and bar with a dock that’s amazing to watch sunset. I honestly could live there it was so green, clean, beautiful and new.

Featuring a bar, the property is located within 2.5 km of Jaguar Rescue Center. The accommodation offers karaoke and a shared kitchen. We got everything we needed, the room was comfortable and we where at a walking distance (2-3 min aprox) from the beach. They also have a great restaurant right next to the hotel and they have great food.

The people, the animals, the nature and only minutes away from the beach ... amazing. The place was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the water pressure was great. We sat outside in the common area most nights playing cards and having a beer, the atmosphere was so welcoming.

At Chinitas Eco Lodge the rooms come with air conditioning and a safety deposit box. The owner is exceptionally kind and patient :). She supported us to get our ride back to the mainland and organised a good guided trip. But where she went above and beyond was preparing a special thing for a special event and also helping me find my phone which I had lost somewhere in the village. It’s definitely somewhere I would consider going back to. It is clearly not high end accommodation but it is extremely clean and the rooms have great air conditioning. For the price it is unbeatable. We also saw a humming bird while there and a few frogs. It is a lovely place to just be and relax.
