The conara was a beautiful touch and having a night cap or two was a perfect way to end the night We had access to the garage which was the perfect spot to dry out some of our camping stuff that we couldn't otherwise dry

A welcoming, well equiped home to relax, enjoy the garden, have a bbq or sip on a few drinks under the back verandah as the sun goes down. Snuggle up on the lounge or read a book in front of the cosy wood fire on the cooler evenings sharing a complimentary port or playing many of the board games provided. Bring your boat/kayaks and park them securely in the back yard or shed to take advantage of the many boat ramps and beaches on the Tasman Peninsula for swimming and excellent fishing.
We live locally and love being able to share with our guests the local attractions, hiking trails, food, wineries, distilleries and spectacular beaches.
The house is centrally located half way between Hobart and Port Arthur. It is within a few minutes walk or drive to some of the best food and beverage establishments on the Tasman Peninsula. Try the Cannery Eatery and Bar, where you can dine on the best seafood platters or enjoy a wonderful bowl of seafood chowder. Visit the Blue Lagoon Oyster Outlet for amazing fresh shucked local oysters, Bangor Vineyard Shed for fantastic lunches and wines and soak up the incredible view. For something a little more casual, wander up to the Dunalley Hotel, Bakery, Golf Club, the Dunalley Seaside Market or Catch van on weekends for a range of meals or takeaway. Top off your day with a visit to the Hellfire Bluff or Dunalley Bay Distilleries for excellent tastings and purchases of gin, vodka and whiskey. The Tasman Peninsula has spectacular hiking trails, beaches and attractions such as Port Arthur, the Lavender Farm and Doo Town, all of this is at your fingertips.
