La Tzoumaz is a Swiss ski resort which forms part of the huge 4-Valley's ski area and a gondola ride away from Verbier. It is north facing and holds the snow well long after others have given up. Residents/Visitors tend to be families and groups wanting outstanding skiing at all levels. In the summer the resort is transformed into a paradise of alpine meadow with endless summer activities. There is a free ski bus around the village and the outlying chalets. Most guests prefer to drive to the main gondola - parking is good at various designated car parks.
