The perfect place to stay a little longer. With a gorgeous pool, vibrant, landscaped gardens full of trees, flowers and fruit local to Rarotonga, and the freedom and flexibility to wander into town as you please, it's easy to see why Avarua Escape is such a highly rated accommodation choice. Quiet, private and convenient island living. You have the choice of two one-bedroom, self-contained villas with private, outdoor verandahs for dining, relaxing and entertaining, and a salt-water pool. A great place to kick back and unwind. We have been visiting Rarotonga from New Zealand for more than fifteen years until we finally made it home. It is a real pleasure to host and welcome our guests to the Cook Islands. Folk who come to stay at the villas come for great business opportunities, great adventures, great together times or just a great time doing as little as they like.
A tranquil hideaway close to town, Avarua Escape is ideal for couples or visitors to Rarotonga for business or pleasure. Only a short 5 minute stroll to town, close to shopping district, cafe's and the infamous Punanga Nui Market - everything you need is on your doorstep, including the main bus stop if you choose to explore the island.
