The land features two fish ponds, a small forest, and one hectare of prairie, which we plan to convert into an edible forest. The lodging is on the first floor of our house, while we live on the ground floor, and is as free as possible of synthetic materials and chemicals. You have your private terrace and access to the house. You can use hammocks and various outdoor sports equipment (volleyball, badminton), and fish in the ponds.

We love green spaces and gardening, and seek to live a healthy lifestyle while minimizing our impact on the planet. Originally from Canada and Russia, we were delighted to find the Perigord Vert region to put our ideas into practice. We look forward to allowing others to enjoy our land and the Perigord Vert!

The region is hilly and highly forested, with various small lakes located 6-15 km away. It is wonderful for swimming, hiking, and fishing enthusiasts. The property is about 1 km from the center of Piégut-Pluviers, where you can find a grocery store, butcher, bakeries, coffee shops, restaurants, live music, brocantes, and local crafts. The village holds the largest outdoor market in Dordogne every Wednesday morning, bringing local farmers (fruits and vegetables, meats, delicatessen, cheeses, pastries, catering...), and various arts and crafts such as knives and pottery. In addition, in summer, there is a local market almost every day in one of the local villages, some with live music and prepared food offered by the farmers themselves.
