The Shepherds hut is set in the lovely Devon countryside but only 1/2 mile from village town with it’s facilities. It has its own garden with a barbecue and the hut itself is 140 feet square with a full king size comfortable bed and it’s own shower, toilet and basin. We have added an additional bedroom for children with a bunk bed with the bottom bunk being a small double to fit two children in or perhaps Granny or Grandad!? Plus a small kitchen with 2 seats , fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave and electric plugs and electric heating. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar and 1 pint of milk is also included. The kingsize adult’s bed will be made up ready for you plus towels and complimentary toiletries, but we ask you to bring all bedding and towels for children their children's shampoo etc. Nearby for children we have the Bear Trail, DiggerLand and the Trains and small theme park at Bickleigh.
We live in the house next door so we are on hand if you should need us for anything.
We have many nice pubs and places to visit within the area. Two National Trust properties to visit, Bickley Mill, Tiverton Castle, Tiverton Canal and horse drawn barge, Diggerland, Bear Trail to name but a few and only 20 miles from places along the coast such as Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton.
