About this property
Themed rooms inspired by places such as Australia, Brazil and Kenya feature at this unique and lively lodge, which specialises in kitesurfing and watersports. Pure Magic Lodge is situated at the foot of Slievemore Mountain, and offers homemade food in its trendy restaurant.
Colourful and chic, the rooms at Pure Magic Lodge each boast unique décor to reflect the country they’re named after. The lodge offers hammocks and stunning views over the beach and lake.
Freshly made pizza and French cuisine, along with traditional dishes are served in the relaxed restaurant area. You can enjoy entertainment on the projector screen, live music, and lunch from the coffee shop.
An activities centre with qualified kitesurfing instructors, Pure Magic Lodge can arrange watersports on the lake and tuition for guests. The fantastic scenery of Achill Island can be explored with cliff walks, mountain biking or horse riding, all of which the lodge can help arrange.

I am Francois (french) but in Ireland for 15 years and once was brought to Achill and... LOVED IT!!!

Pure Magic is not a hotel, not a bnb, not a hostel nor a guesthouse... Pure Magic is just Pure Magic: a simple place, charming building where we welcome simply new friends who come and enjoy Achill. Food, Music, Watersports.
Our rooms are various sizes with a unique theme which the room is named. The price is based per person and please see the kids policy to avoid any incorrect pricing.
We are now open for the season 2025. Please check for our opening times on the off - peak season.We are not a fully licence premises but we do have a selection of lovely beers & wines available.
Neighbourhood information
Sheep are our neighbours... they are very cute and kind but sometimes they wake us up early or they leave their "little thing" every where... welcome to ACHILL!!!
