NomadGao Dharamkot is a beautifully designed boutique property overlooking the mountains. We have 12 elegantly decorated private rooms overlooking the mountains designed for comfortable long and short stays. We do a lot of community activities like karaoke nights, board and card game nights, bonfires, and live music nights. We have a beautiful rooftop restaurant and cafe serving Asian food and all-day breakfast. We have a dedicated coworking space, great internet, and desk and chair in every room to make sure you have a productive vacation as a digital nomad.

We are Mayur and Joy, an Indo-Vietnamese couple. We live in beautiful Goa with our 3 wonderful kids. When we decided to settle down in Goa after years of traveling, we knew we will eventually start a homestay. We love to meet people from around the world, listen to their stories, and share ours. Having run community space in the Himalayas in the past, Mayur always wanted to recreate the community magic. Joy always wanted to design and decorate a space. Thus, NomadGao, our fourth child, was born. We love to travel slow and looking forward to worldschool our children in the near future. We prefer homestays and hostels over hotels, travelling over saving, and good food over everything else. Looking forward to sharing more when you meet us as a guest or a host :)

Dharamkot is a charming Himalayan Village just a 15-minute serene walk away from McLeodganj, the home of HH Dalai Lama. At 2100 meters, Dharamkt has pleasant weather in the summers and beautiful views of snow-capped mountains in the winter. For such a small village, Dharamkot is full of the international community. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants around. There is a great live music scene here with Indian and international artists performing various genres.
