Fox Trot Cabin is a world away yet within striking distance of many area attractions: Chateau Morrisette, Buffalo Mountain Ziplines, Rock Castle Gorge, Rocky Knob, Mabry Mill, Fairy Stone Park and a 20 minute drive to Floyd. Four secluded acres at 2700' on a private mountainside. A reprieve from modern life and urban noise while still enjoying modern conveniences like: WiFi, AC, microwave, oven/range, HD TV/Blu-Ray, & LTE coverage. Come relax and unwind just 1 mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway.
I am currently studying towards becoming a Physical Therapy Assistant and host my cabin on the side. I love getting away from the mountains every now and then but I also love returning to them.

Fox Trot Cabin exists on a hillside within a community located at Slatemont, which is exactly that: a mountain made of Slate. You will be on four acres to yourself. The driveway makes a complete circle so that you don't have to turn around. There are other roads and trails traversing Slatemont that are excellent for hiking and are all privately owned and safe for your exploration (no hunting). The cabin is surrounded by abundant rhododendron providing lots of privacy.
There is no public transportation close to this area.
