Hello...I am Scott, a retired professional firefighter for the City of Pittsburgh & United States Navy veteran and my wife is a retired school teacher. I am excited to play the roll of your host. We live in the area and strive to make each stay memorable for our guests. If this is your first time to the great city of Pittsburgh, we provide you with laminated guides to satisfy all interests. When you arrive, a gift basket will be waiting for 'yinz guys' & please make note that our property does have steps. Parents are responsible for ensuring their children's safety BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE our property. In addition to the many amenities we have at our property, including our kid-friendly features (see About the Property), the Yinzers Getaway ALSO boasts a spacious Pet-Friendly Designated Pet Area individualized for BOTH dogs and cats called, "PETtsburgh!" I do not know of any short-term rental near me who shows such care for pets and human guests because the pet area is a designated area, separate from the bedrooms, kitchen, and dining & living rooms. I show respect to our future human guests who may be allergic to pets, as well as respecting pet owners who desire to travel with their pets & to keep them in a really nice place with entertainment, safety, and comfort, by utilizing the concept of designated pet areas. In other words, your pets do NOT get the full run of the property. The designated dog area is a spacious 18 x 15 room that provides many luxuries for your dog/s & the designated cat area is a spacious 17 x 11 room that also provides many luxuries for your cat/s, for example, pet furniture, pet TV, pet beds, pet toys, refrigerator/freezer, elevated & professional pet bathtub, cleaning supplies, & grooming supplies. All that we ask is that you sign our Pet Agreement & pay a one-time pet fee. Our property is five minutes away from the local dog park, vet, and pet restaurant.
