A Boutique Paradise – Contessina Suites & Spa, Zakynthos Our stay at Contessina Suites & Spa was absolutely unforgettable – truly one of the best boutique hotels we’ve ever experienced. From the very beginning, we felt the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, thanks especially to the incredibly kind and attentive staff. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite with a private pool and were warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine and a fresh fruit platter. At the end of our stay, we were even gifted a bottle of Contessina’s own olive oil – such a thoughtful gesture that made our departure bittersweet. Breakfast was a daily delight – fresh, varied, and always served with a smile. Every morning felt like a warm embrace. The on-site gym is small but modern, and for those wanting more space or equipment, the large and well-equipped gym at the sister hotel is just perfect. Highly recommended! This hotel combines luxury, soul, and genuine hospitality. We’ll be dreaming of Contessina for a long time to come.

The staff in Zante Maris are incredible. From the moment you arrive, they are there to help you with anything you need. Vicky at the reception is so helpful and kind. If you are lucky enough to meet her, make sure you get some local recommendations! We loved the hospitality of Nikos and his family. They invited us to breakfast when we arrived and let us stay as long as we wanted to, the day we traveled back home. They always had great recommendations for us and made us feel very comfortable. You can walk in around 20 minutes to the beach or a little town to get groceries, go to some restaurants, etc. We even walked to Zakynthos center which is a 25 min walk. We definitely recommend to rent a car for two days to enjoy the Island and other locations. Nikos arranged everything for us, the car was driven to our hotel and when we left it at the car rental two days later, they even drove us back to the hotel - great service:)

This apartment was exceptionally good value for especially 2 couples as it comfortably sleeps 4 with 2 queen beds. Only one bathroom to share between 2 rooms. Also only one room is air conditioned but door can be left open for second room so cooling is fine from the hallway ac unit.

    if you want a relaxing break this is the place, we hardly seen anyone in hotel it has such a relaxed feel. the private pool was amazing as well as the hot tub in room.
