Great location. The room was not large but adequate for us. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit omelet, toast, yogurt, and juice. Pool was an added bonus before breakfast and on return from day out. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. With only 4 rooms it is not crowded. 100% would stay again

We had a lovely stay at Megabe Villa! The setting is enchanting and so peaceful, a real escape. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with fresh juice. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and the room was both comfortable and spotless. We had a delicious breakfast in the garden with a beautiful view of the lake, it was such a relaxing way to start the day. The whole experience was truly calming and unforgettable.

His leadership was evident in every detail of our stay. Sajith and Chaminda, the guest service ambassadors, were exceptional in their hospitality, handling even our most complex requests with grace, efficiency, and genuine passion. Amazing place in the rural area near Galle/Unawatuna, will a huge, private space with two beds and two bathrooms. Use of the pool is a huge perk. It’s incredibly peaceful, away from the business of Galle/Unawatuna and a lovely place to relax. Still only a 25’in journey / 1500LKR journey into Galle through a Tuk Tuk driver friend. Amila is a great host and would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing time.

I recently traveled to Galle with my four cousins to enjoy a weekend getaway, and staying at Wis Villa made our vacation even more enjoyable and memorable. The property features a beautiful garden and a spacious balcony upstairs, providing a perfect spot to relax. Its proximity to Galle town is a big plus, making it convenient for exploring the area. One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to cook our favorite meals in the well-equipped kitchen. The villa is incredibly peaceful, with no disturbances or unwanted noise, ensuring a calm and relaxing environment. The villa we stayed in had two air-conditioned rooms, a TV with Western channels, the cleanest washroom, and all the necessary amenities. For fitness enthusiasts, there is even an Orbitrek exercise machine available. The property owners, an incredibly kind and attentive uncle and aunt, were always ready to provide anything we needed. They are the parents of the villa's owner, who was also exceptionally supportive. Despite having to call him several times and checking in late at night, he remained helpful and friendly, always providing great vibes during our conversations. I would rate this place 100/100 with no cons. It is highly recommended for tourists and foreigners looking for a relaxing place in Galle. Trust me, you will thank me later!

The staff was friendly and helpful. We had excellent time in hotel and all our family felt warm and welcomed in the hotel. The extra services(Spa and driver) were also excellent. We enjoyed the driver service This service is worry free and worth for the money. Driver guided us to sights and we experienced more of Sri Lanka with his help.

While traveling across the island, we spent a lot of time choosing the right hotel on the coast. Despite being a new property with only a few reviews, we took the risk – and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip. The hotel impresses on every level – from its thoughtful design and perfect location to the outstanding service that pays attention to every detail. The staff are not only polite but genuinely caring and attentive – we felt truly looked after from the very beginning. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and offer breathtaking views of the ocean. Breakfasts are a real highlight – fresh ingredients, a wide variety of dishes, and, which is rare in Sri Lanka, genuinely good coffee. Evenings by the pool with perfectly crafted cocktails were the ideal way to unwind after a day of exploring. We’ve traveled extensively and stayed at many 5-star hotels around the world, and this one definitely ranks among our top favorites. It’s a place with incredible potential – we highly recommend visiting while the prices are still reasonable, as they’re bound to rise in the future.

The hotel was beautiful, tastefully decorated, clean and very well maintained. Staff were friendly and accommodating. It's also about an 8 minute walk from the entrance of the Historic Galle Fort. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were exceptionally comfortable.
