Hotels with Hot tubs in Kataragama

Staying here felt like luxury for us, everything seems to be brand new and with a clean and modern furniture. Room was huge, and we didn't expect to have a bath with nice hot water. The place is very peaceful surrounded by the forest, and just 15 minutes from kataragama temple complex, which is a must see during sunset time.. I really would have spent a week just here!

Don't know even where to start as experiance with Kind Yala was unforgettable! At the beggining I was a bit afraid as the hotel is situated in the jungle behind fence under electricity (due to elephants) and we were the only quests! So if you have similar worries, don't! Every person from the staff was absolutely great, helpful and very friendly. They tried their best to make your stay as best as its possible. I must mention the manager who organized everything for us and was avaliable under whatsapp all the time for us! They also organized a suprise dinner with bonfire and romantic atmosphere which was simply perfect!! Food was amazing no matter if this was breakfast, lunch or dinner - nicely presented, very tasty, variety od choice, made with love. The tent/bungallow looks exactly as on the photos - pretty large, clean, had everything you need, good air con, comfortable large bed. At night you could hear jungle voices which was pretty amazing. On a day of arrival staff organized a bike trip for us - to avoid getting lost one person came with us a a quide! Last but not least - next day they organize mini safari and later a main safari which was another wonderful experiance - we saw many animals including elephants, crocodiles and even leopard! Overall this was the best stay of that kind I ever had, dont hesitate and try King Yala! I bet you wont regret!!!

This was by far the best property we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Initially the price tag seemed a bit high for Sri Lanka standards but after having stayed at 5 other places in the country, the price seemed worth every penny. - The meals were superb, especially the dinner BBQ (one portion was enough for the two of us)! They arranged meals for our baby at no extra cost and that too an elaborate curry lunch on short notice, and even the baby meals were great. - Staff was super friendly and always available. The property contact listed on booking.com spoke fluent English. She was very accommodating of our needs and conveyed our requests promptly to the service staff. - The grounds of the property are beautifully decorated with well manicured lawns and lots of trees providing hideouts for all kinds of birds. The grounds are also visited by grey langur monkeys. A true nature's retreat that felt very luxurious. - The room is quite big with sufficient space for holding luggage. It's equipped with a large TV, larger than most other places with Netflix and all. The beds were super comfy and all three of us had a very comfortable night's sleep. The best part of the room was the floor to ceiling windows and you could draw up the curtains to reveal a beautiful outdoor patio. - The owner (who happened to be visiting the day we were there) was a lovely person who really took care of us and even arranged flip-flops for us for no additional charge! And the place looked exactly like the photos on booking.com so we couldn't find fault with anything at all. We would go back there in a heartbeat!

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location faced to beautiful paddy field. Top tip : Hotel owner Mrs.Dilhani arranged our Safari and made us delicious breakfast packed in a containers to carry with us while on safari.We had an absolutely brilliant day and I would love to recommend White House Inn - Thissamaharama to other travellers. This place was an absolute one of a kind. I cannot explain how amazing the owner and his team were. They made sure we had everything we needed including charging our devices, making me a herbal tea, freshly squeezed juice, providing beer to purchase etc. We had the Sri Lankan dinner and it was probably the best food we had on our whole trip. They provided a gorgeous environment with a fire pit for the evening time. The breakfast was amazing and they organised the safari for us too. They also come and pick you up and drop you off at a pick up point, with very good communication. It was a true jungle experience and nothing was too much for the owner and his amazing staff. Thank you!!

This is the most fantastic place built around the trees and natural habitat on the outskirts of Yala national park. Everything was provided, the food was incredible and we were given a trip to the fishing village on the beach for sunset in their buggy with Suraj and Tilina. It was like a mini safari. We saw crocodiles, deer, tortoises wild boar and on the beach the boys showed us where the elephants had been earlier in the day, footprints still showing in the sand. Suraj and Tilina were both young but so knowledgeable and friendly. They provided us breakfast at 4am for our Yala safari and we can't thank them, and the manager enough for making us so welcome. Will definitely stay again if we return to Sri Lanka.

Top Service, from the first minute until the end! Refreshment at arriving, were allowed to stay in our room half an hour longer than the safari was (organised by them as well and breakfast take a way possibility) Live Cocktail mixing, wonderful Pool (maybe a bit to warm) Dinner as buffet was nice!

Manager Amit was ready to serve us with his best possible way. He was available at all the times even in the morning when we’re ready to for Yala Safari and made breakfast for us at 5.00am morning. Pool is very clean and quite big, Sunset at Kaaya made our stay beautiful. Kaaya provides authentic Sri Lankan cuisine and on demand can be prepared other’s cuisine too. We’re enjoying the night with Barbecue pool side and amazing melody for Sri Lankan music. Spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, quality linens, extra ordinary hospitality and lake frontage makes this place outstanding. I believe only Kaaya has more than 200m lake frontage with space of more than 3.25 acres land.
