A luxury stay experience at the edge of the breathtakingly beautiful New Zealand Fiordland. The Lodge sits in a stunning rural setting, with sweeping views across beautiful Lake Manapouri to the snow-capped peaks beyond. Our hosts Breidi and Brad made us feel very welcome and at home. Gourmet dinner and breakfast included in the stay were outstanding, and upon request our hosts arranged a delicious picnic for us to take on our day cruise to Doubtful Sound. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and many thoughtful details enhanced our stay. Highlights for us included an afternoon relaxing in the Library in front of a crackling fire, and chatting to other Lodge guests in the lounge over pre-dinner drinks and canapes.

Situated in Manapouri, 22 km from Te Anau Glow Worm Caves and 23 km from Fiordland Cinema, Kepler Mountain View features spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi.

Spacious studio, we visited in the winter and had the opportunity to book the hot tub which was awesome! Highly recommended :) Would be nice to have a choice of 2 pillows(soft and medium) per room.

Very well equipped , everything was new and in very high quality. They even have bikes and a hot tub which we used.

Beautiful room and environment, nicely prepared breakfast each day. Owner was really nice and explained where to go with beautiful prepared map. Has a kitchenette with oven to heat food, no stove.

Alpine Rock is a cozy and quiet house surrounded in nature, just a 5-minute drive from Te Anau. While Jeff and Jan were excellent hosts, and we truly enjoyed meeting them, Eddie stole the show as the best host, making sure we could pet him to our hearts’ content. Breakfast was exceptional—healthy, delicious, and served right on schedule. Our stay at Alpine Rock was heartwarming, and we’ll definitely return if we are ever in Te Anau again.
