We have been traveling through Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for almost two months, when we decided to end our trip in Koh Chang. First we went to the West Coast, where we had plenty of bars, restaurants and such, but for our last stay we wanted a quiet, beachfront bungalow, where we can enjoy our last days of holiday. We couldn't have chose better, since Sunrise is all this, and much more! Just 8 bungalows (4 on the beach), with a very romantic look and feel, a red sand beach with a deserted feeling, and one of the best swimming pools I have seen in the last years. The restaurant is tiny, with 14 options for lunch and dinner and 6 options for breakfast... But what options! We tried 12 out of the 14 dishes on the menu, all traditional thai, and we were simply mesmerized! All of them were amazing, with a perfect balance between deliciousness and size. If I would have to recommend something, even though it is very hard to choose, I would say the cashew tamarind dish, the stir fried garlic and pepper sauce and the sweet and sour one. But that is not all. First of all, this was the first place in two months that served proper coffee as we have it at home - in a french press. Second, and probably the reason for which our stay went from good to exceptional - the host, Penh. She is so kind, so helpful and so friendly, and she helped us with advice, renting a car, getting a massage and so on. Thank you so much Penh for having us! We loved the facilities, the infinity pool and closeby Spa building as Wellas the gym. The staff was exceptional and very sweet to our little one. We also loved the Green design and how the designers and architects of The Chill were able create a calm and rejuvenating oasis in which we always felt tranquility and positive energy. Also the activities offered by the resort were nice and gave a personal touch to our already overall very positive experience. On the last evening we were able to celebrate Loy Krathong and sent off little floats made out of ice to the sea…

Great Villa in front of the pool and on the beach Wifi was very fast, so streaming was good Modern kitchen with dishwasher, Very clean, and the guy who checked us in was friendly. The private rooftop terrace had a gas and charcoal bbq and a heated jacuzzi, which was great on the night we stayed I am looking forward to returning very soon

The staff from the first people on the check in desk too everyone else. They could not do enough for us. Cocktail bar man was outstanding. Food best in koh chang. Whole place was spotless

We find this hotel excellent in every way and have stayed here at least 4 or 5 times. Our son lives nearby so it is super convenient. Staff and management are really good in particular Noy in the Food and beverage management. Highly recommended 👌 We shall be back there again ❤️

Everything:) I would love to come back to this hotel. We had got a villa room which is super big and has beautiful outside patio. The swimming pool is great for cooling off during the hours when the sun shines the most. the beach is amazing, there are enough sunbeds. The staff are also very nice and helpful.

my favorite hotel on Koh Chang. I stay there every year. For me, the most ideal location in my opinion. Not far from lonely beach (5 minutes by bike, which can be rented at the hotel). Around the corner is a store that is open until 12 at night, a laundry and restaurants. The houses are located in a green garden, spaced apart from each other, which creates additional privacy. Very friendly staff). Ideal price-quality ratio. If you are a package tourist, then this hotel is unlikely to suit you.з
