Me limpiaron la habitacion, me colocaron muchisimos paños limpios no tuve la necesidad de solicitar, contaba con extras que no los esperaba, el desayuno la atencion de los muchachos del TikiBar, la piña colada deliciosa. Los monos, una cantidad enorme de pajaritos y mariposas.

Casa Mambo se encuentra en Cahuita, a 1 min a pie de Playa Negra y a 23 km de Jaguar Rescue Center, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, jardín y terraza. Breakfast was wonderful. The place was very relaxing. Marion was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. We would have liked to stay for longer!

The Babylon Suite Tortuguero, que tiene vistas a la montaña, dispone de alojamiento con jardín y patio a unos 3 min a pie de Playa de Tortuguero. Alojamiento muy amplio, es como se ve en las imágenes. Ducha amplia y muy bonita. Cocina muy bien equipada. Las camas muy cómodas también, estuvimos muy bien. La ubicación es excelente y las vistas una maravilla. Gracias a Carmen y Carla por todo.

Excellent accommodation set off the road in beautiful grounds amongst tropical trees, plants and the amazing howler monkeys. It was so much better than I expected and also close to the small town within walking distance via a pathway, about 10 minutes walk. I think we saw more wildlife in this area than other places we visited such as Fortuna which is on the recommended tourist trial. You feel like you are in your own little tropical rain forest and rooms are not overlooked . All facilities around the pool are also great.

Staff was amazing, truly wanted to make us comfortable. One of the big reasons we went with this hotel was the availability of the free bikes- which unfortunately kept breaking down. But they went out of their way to fix them for us. We also appreciate the do it-yourself laundry available, and the clean pool to cool off in, during the late afternoon when it’s really hot. The air conditioning worked really well and the location is great; as it is not in the middle of the downtown hustle and bustle. Very close to the national park - we biked there three times! Nice restaurant - Reggae’s - very close. Easy access to stretch of black sand beach that was not full of tourists. We spotted all kinds of tropical birds in the property and a sloth right across the street.

Le Colibri Rouge Hotel Cabinas - El Colibrí Rojo es un hotel tipo bed and breakfast situado a 3 km del centro de Cahuita y a 300 metros del parque nacional de Cahuita. Everybody was very kind and they gave us lots of recommendations of things to do. I forgot my rings in the room and they kindly saved them for me until I returned to picked them up. They also reply very quickly to messages sent on booking and offer to text you on whatsapp.

El Hotel La Casa de las Flores se encuentra en Cahuita, a solo 230 metros de la terminal de autobuses y del centro comercial. Ofrece un desayuno continental gratuito y conexión Wi-Fi gratuita. Staff were very helpful with travel assistance and booking local trips. Daily room cleaning. It’s secure, you receive a key to access the property after regular hours. It’s walking distance to everything. Good breakfast with lots of fruit and eggs made to order.

Cabañas La Hermosa #2, que tiene jardín, terraza y restaurante, dispone de alojamiento en Guápiles con wifi gratis y vistas a la montaña. Beautifully decorated and equipped cabaña with good shower ( hot/cold) and fridge. Very comfy. The balcony ( 2 sides) is just fantastic - tranquil setting, perfect for relaxing or birdwatching. On top the best typical breakfast of my several weeks CR trip. Karen is very attentive and tries to make the stay a memorable one. For the Guapiles area certainly the best choice.

It is a short walk from Playa Negra and surrounded by rainforest that is full of small animals such as iguanas, frogs, agoutis, racoons and even an armadillo… just make sure you bring anti-mosquito spray!
