This is likely one of the most beautiful places to stay in Peten, the hotel has incredible views of lake Peten Itza at pretty much every corner. A cool funicular that will take you to the a small dock on the lower part, where you will be able to jump in the lake and continue to admire the scenery. To that you can add really nice food at the restaurant that has enough variety to not taste the same food on a week long trip. But, the best thing about this place is it’s amazing staff, they are so welcoming and friendly, they will treat you like family. They gave us a lot of tips about where to go and how to get there, they always welcomed us back with a smile, a cold towel and a clean room.

Incredible hotel on the lake with stunning views, facilities, and lovely staff. We’re a British couple in our late 20s and it’s one of our favourite hotels that we’ve ever stayed in. There is a shuttle boat that runs from the hotel to Flores island which is a pretty cool mode of transport. Few things we particularly liked: - The staff are accommodating offering great excursions (Tikal was the tour we did and enjoyed) and were very welcoming, particularly given our Spanish was very poor - the food at the hotel is really good, nice touch preparing the breakfast boxes too when we had early departures from the hotel - good drinks options too (beers and cocktails the highlight from our side, wine was expensive but that’s to be expected) - there are kayaks and pedalos free to use too which were a nice touch. - the room is stunning with beautiful views, good TV, impressive bathroom

Precioso hotel con una vista increíble al lago. Hermosa piscina, buen restaurante y servicio impecable. Un poco costoso, pero vale cada centavo pagado.

Este encantador hotel está situado en la Selva Petén del norte de Guatemala, a orillas del lago Petén. Ofrece fantásticas excursiones a las ruinas mayas del parque nacional de Tikal. Las habitaciones muy buenas, amplias y camas súper cómodas. La vista al lago es preciosa sobretodo al amanecer. La piscina y jacuzzi de 10. La playa del lago bien cuidada, y todo muy bonito.

Está situado en la isla de Flores, conectada por carretera con el lago Peten Itza. El Hotel Casona de La Isla cuenta con piscina al aire libre y bañera de hidromasaje. Hermoso hotel en perfecta ubicación con vistas preciosas. El hotel se encuentra en muy buenas condiciones, se nota que hay buen mantenimiento de las instalaciones. El aire acondicionado funcionó perfecto en la habitación que era espaciosa y cómoda. La piscina y el jacuzzi son de lo mejor en especial se agradecen para refrescarse ya que hace mucho calor en Flores. Nos encantó el desayuno, muy bien servido y con café y jugo para servirse al gusto. Recomendado!
