Boutique Hotel Mirjam offers 4-star accommodation with a sauna, hot tub and spa centre. I loved everything. Room was clean, very nice and big, beds were super comfy, bathroom was spacious. The breakfast had a great variety of options to start a day, swimming pool was nice and cozy, the pool bar was working - what more do you need ;) Parking in garage is great for the hot weather.

Casa Columba is a beautiful boutique hotel located right off of one of the most charming streets in Makarska. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the main bus station, making it an easy spot to travel in and out of Makarska. While it’s tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s only a short walk to great restaurants, stores and beaches. The adults-only hotel is beautifully renovated, and very charming. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, masterfully decorated, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dino, clearly took a lot of pride in crafting an oasis with this entire space. He, Yan Yan, and Eddie were welcoming and kind, and as a solo traveler I felt both safe and incredibly comfortable. I have to call out Yan Yan in particular for being especially thoughtful, professional and warm. He really helped set a positive tone at the start of every day with exceptional service at breakfast and throughly the day with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - his energy was a cherry on top of an already lovely stay. I look forward to recommending Casa Columba to friends and family, and returning again one day!

What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, is the staff. Everyone has been kind, welcoming, and professional, but we would especially like to thank Marijana. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests go far beyond expectations. We are deeply grateful for everything she’s done to make our stay so special. The lady at the reception Andela (hope I got the name, right) was the star. She was extremely helpful, very courteous and made sure we had a wonderful stay in the hotel.

Certain units in the apartment complex have private entrance and are equipped with desk and wardrobe. Some of the units feature a satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with a hot tub and bathrobes. In some units there is a dressing room for guests to change in. We had the deluxe appartment with jacuzzi. In addition to terrace, it had a nice sea view balcony. Very clean appartment with good amenities. The location was nice between Brela and Baska Voda. Both villages’ restaurants were situated with decent walking distance. Also the beach next to the appartment was nice. The service was excellent, we even got a ride to the beach from the owner one day :) And parking in front of the house or in the garage was great too.

Our sea view room offered a stunning view — waking up to the ocean each morning was a real highlight. The room was very comfortable, with sleek, modern styling that we absolutely loved. Breakfast was also very nice, with plenty of options to choose from — something for everyone, and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. The hotel is just a short walk from all the bars and restaurants and the beach was also so close, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local scene. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!
