The staff was very kind and friendly, they even helped us to organise a birthday surprise for our kid. The ski area is just across the street as well as the bus stop to go to Bormio or S. Caterina ski areas. We loved our stay at Nira!

Set in Bormio, Hotel Baita Dei Pini is just a short walk from the city’s historic centre, ski lifts, and thermal baths. The Bormio 2000 and Ciuk ski lifts are across the river.

The Baita dei Pini is well known for its international and national cuisine. Breakfast buffet includes homemade cakes, a selection of bread, eggs and bacon. Dinner and lunch are served in the main restaurant or at the traditional Stube lounge. According to Italian standards, the breakfast offered many options. It was more than enough. The staff at breakfast was so kind. The room was quite spacious and adequate. The beds were also very comfortable. We didn't try the restaurant for dinner, but we were very satisfied with the hotel.

The owners were incredibly friendly and provided an amazing stay. I felt like one of their friends immediately and they took care of my every need. I had planned to stay only 1 night but ended up staying 2 as I was so comfortable. I loved the touches they added or kept (such as the rocks in the bathroom) were great. The room was very comfortable and warm in the winter.

The property is around 45 km from Train Station St. Moritz, 50 km from Piz Buin and 27 km from Swiss National Park Visitor Centre. Guests can use the spa and wellness centre with a sauna, and hot tub, as well as a bar. An incredible hotel! One of the best we've ever stayed at. The rooms are stunning, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the food was outstanding and the wellness center was really great. The hotel also organized a snowshoe walking tour, which was a unique and special experience. We will definetyly come back next time we will be in Livignio. Before booking, we had a few concerns: Food – We didn’t find many reviews about the food, especially dinner, which made us hesitant. However, we decided to go with the half-board option, and we’re so glad we did. The food was absolutely fantastic! If you're considering it, definitely go for the half board—you won’t regret it. Location – We skied in Mottolino, which required taking the blue bus. One great advantage of the hotel’s location is that the bus is almost empty when heading to the gondola, as it drops most people before the hotel'sstation. On the way back, most skiers prefer other buses, so it’s not too as crowded as the other buses. Overall, it's a great location for skiing.
