Really good value for an excellent experience. The location is great for getting around Kyoto and doing day trips to nearby cities (Osaka, Nara…), since it’s located right by a JR train station and only one stop away from the main Kyoto train station. If you have one of the Japan Rail Passes (like we did) this makes it very convenient and economic for getting around. The hotel has a refined and above average interior decoration design: the color palette, fabric choices and balance between contemporary style with traditional references are beautifully done. The rooms are large for Japanese standards and come with the loveliest kimono style pyjama sets to wear while relaxing in your room. Breakfast is great with a large selection of both Western and Japanese foods. In the evening you can enjoy the in hotel exclusive to guests onsen hot baths and sauna - a really great way to relax and recuperate after a day of sightseeing! We went every evening. There are also several in hotel restaurants and very nearby food choices. For families with kids there’s a great park just a couple minutes away, as well as the Kyoto Railway museum right beside! Highly recommended and we will definitely stay again next time we’re in Kyoto.

祇園四条ホテル está muy bien situado en el barrio de Higashiyama, Kioto, a pocos pasos de Estación de tren Gion Shijo, a 9 min a pie de Samurai Kembu en Kyoto y a 1,7 km de Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference... Perfect location for Gion Festival, great facilities and an umbrella when I needed it :)

Nazuna Kyoto Higashi Honganji es un alojamiento bien ubicado en el centro de Kioto, a 6 min a pie de TKP Garden City Kyoto y a 900 metros de Estación de tren de Kioto. Increíble. La habitación es espectacular al estilo auténtico tradicional japonés pero con toques modernos muy bien mezclados. La cama es increíblemente cómoda y grande. Super limpio todo y con 2 pares de zapatillas para ir por el hotel y para ir por la habitación. El baño es genial, con todo lo necesario, además de secador y plancha del pelo. También incluyen su Nazuna KYO GAORI, una prenda típica de allí muy cómoda. Todo lo del minibar está incluido en el precio, además de un minibar con algunos dulces que hay en una salita exterior común para todos los huéspedes que también todo está incluido en el precio. El onsen privado de la habitación rodeado de un pequeño jardincito es una pasada nos quedamos tan relajados que nos quedamos dormidos. El desayuno incluido también es un espectáculo con una barbacoa que te cocinan delante tuya. El personal súper educado y cordial, lo explican todo super bien en ingles sin problema. Todo es un servicio de 10.

Ryokan Sumiya Kihoan está en Kameoka, a 13 km de Oyamazumi Shrine, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina de temporada al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. An exceptional ryokan with outstanding service and incredibly polite staff. The atmosphere is peaceful, cozy, and very private. Our room with a private onsen was absolutely amazing, and the kaiseki dinner was unforgettable — truly a culinary experience.

雅 es un alojamiento muy bien situado en Kioto que ofrece terraza, wifi gratis y habitaciones con aire acondicionado. La amabilidad del dueño de la casa y la casa en general es cómoda, las camas tambien. Todo perfecto.

The hotel provides a beautiful and large space for my family. It is located in a very convenient location, close to transit, landmarks and stores.

谷町君 星屋 神泉ノ宿 二条城 está a 11 min a pie de Castillo Nijō, en el centro de Kioto, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y acceso a un jardín y a la bañera de hidromasaje. The location was great. It is near 3 train stations Shijo-Omiya, Nijo station and Nijojo-mae station (all under 1KM walk). Shinsenen-mae bus stop is only 100m away. There are many nice eateries around with many large supermarkets, LIFE at Nijo station, Seiyu Sanjo (300m) away as well as Fresco (300m) away. The apartment is also sparkly clean and new unlike some of the comments from the past. The staff at the counter were great and super responsive. There is a folder on the instructions to operate the appliances in the apartment. The coffee capsules given were superb, better than some of those stall bought coffee. We checked in in the evening and was able to enter the apartment without any help. The management sent a detailed video on how to operate the digital key lock prior to check in. The pricing of this apartment was pricey but worth every penny. Will certainly recommend to our friends and family!
