The staff are all awesome and they care deeply about the Forest Lodge and their guest experience! The rooms are wonderful, the common areas are super comfortable, with an updated but traditional feel. Beautiful drying room and tuning area in the basement, and everyone is there to ski/ride so you'll get solid tips. They're happy to give you a lift to/from the resort if you don't have a car. The view from the private onsen was really wonderful. Recommended in Myoko!

What a place! Dave and Lisa run a warm, welcoming Lodge and work hard to make everyone feel at home. They are great hosts and go that extra mile to make your stay memorable. From the minute we got off the train in Myoko we were looked after. From organizing ski hire and lessons (at last minute), driving us to and from the resorts, to booking and shuttling us to dinner (and even joining us some nights), Dave and Lisa made us feel welcome. We even got a guided off-piste snow boarding tour of Madarao with Dave on a powder day. Kitsune has a relaxed and communal vibe which is in no small part the result of Dave and Lisa's caring approach to their guests. It was a truly unique and unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back Thanks Dave and Lisa.

Morino Lodge - Myoko se encuentra en Myoko, a 33 km de Templo Zenkoji y a 35 km de Estación de Nagano, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, restaurante y bar. The staff are awesome, make you feel at home and the entire vibe of the place is really relaxed. Big shout out to Dougie and the whole crew (sorry I didn't get everyone's names but they all remembered mine =)). The bartenders make great drinks, the drinks are priced really well (it's always happy hour), and the breakfast is solid every morning. The other facilities here are great for skiers/boarders. The dry room and waxing stations have everything and plenty of room for many guests. And a soak in their onsen was great every evening after ripping the slopes.

Tsubame Highland Lodge燕ハイランドロッジ está a 37 km de Templo Zenkoji y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, jardín, salón de uso común y bar. En el lodge, tanto el wifi como el parking privado son gratis. Lovely quiet lodge in the mountains. Staff were incredibly helpful providing drop off and pick up from the ski areas each day. Food was excellent with a good variety of dishes each day. It is possible to ski along a pathway and through a tunnel to the ski slopes but be aware of avalanche risk after heavy snowfall. Great location for us, but be aware it is up in the mountains away from the resort with nothing else around.
