This was such an unforgettable experience. We were supposed to stay for just one night but ended up staying 4! Okay, from the beginning. We had different accommodation in Hakuba, but we weren’t satisfied so we were looking for something else and found Dark Horse by chance. The moment we walked into the house, we were greeted with smiles and warmth. Andy, Rika, Momo and Hana create something truly special. We’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and such, but this one will stay in our hearts for a long time. Everything is well thought out, you can see it’s taken care of down to the smallest detail, you can see it’s done properly and not just to be the cheapest. We felt so beautifully hosted. They also have an amazing sake collection to try, and the food is delicious too. Thank you again and we already miss it. I hope we’ll get the chance to meet again. PS. Hakuba Amber Resort by Jade Group se encuentra en Hakuba y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, vistas a la montaña y acceso a la bañera de hidromasaje. The property had everything we needed and more. It looked exactly like the photos. The "onsen" was a big plus after a day of hitting the slopes. We will definitely recommend this property.

Tsutaya Tokinoyado Kazari dispone de bicicletas gratis, jardín, terraza y bar en Kiso. Este ryokan de 4 estrellas ofrece un punto de venta de forfaits y servicio de traslado gratuito. Beautiful location with very attentive staff. Comfortable lounge area and the food was exceptional. The outdoor bath was constantly full of lovely hot water so we could enjoy at any time.

El Eternal Flame alberga un restaurante, un bar y tiene WiFi gratuita. Dispone de aparcamiento gratuito. Nao and Kimi were such lovely hosts! They picked us from the bus station when we arrived. Breakfast every morning was a surprise and they all tasted amazing. Private onsen though small was a very nice little touch. We loved the free flow coffee and tea, games room, and massage chairs. We got 10% off ski passes and ski rental as well, and Nao gave great recommendations for late season skiing (hakuba47 had the best snow quality for mid to late march skiing). Thanks for such a lovely time and we will be back!

Pension Belnina está en Hakuba, en la región de Nagano, cerca de Estación de esquí Happo One y Terminal de autobuses Happo de Hakuba. Private onsen was so nice after skiing! The breakfasts were great and the guidance for restaurants and ski resorts was very helpful. Taka and his wife have created a warm and welcoming environment, I can’t recommend this enough!

Yorozuya se encuentra en Yamanouchi, a 4,1 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani y a 10 km de Ryuoo Ski Park. Ofrece alojamiento con bar y wifi gratis, además de parking privado gratis. Just wow, beautiful location, amazing food, the staff were lovely. Not sure you could find anything more traditional. A really awe inspiring experience. The onsen was soo beautiful. A shame that the men get the most time in the Momoyama section as it is jaw droppingly beautiful and would be so cool to watch the day break from there. Great that you can take photos in the morning before you depart. So atmospheric at night. Not touristy at all and full of locals. Scrub up on your Japanese before you go!

El establecimiento Pension Tomato se encuentra a 10 minutos en coche de la estación de esquí de Hakuba Happo-One Winter y ofrece habitaciones amplias de estilo occidental con zona de loft. Wow wow WOW. We didn't want to leave. This place was amazing. The two onsens are super plush. The owners are amazing people and we would highly recommend eating breakfast and/or dinner with them.
