Place was lovely, very modern clean rooms, everyday cleaning service, air conditioner. We’ve been welcomed with sparkling wine and left with goodbye gift. If you have a birthday, you may count on a sweet surprise. There was a mini bar, kitchen with microwave and electric plate and small fridge, also espresso maker with excellent quality of coffee, kitchen utensils allowed for some cooking. The view showed surrounding hotel and ocean in the distance. I really enjoyed the 2 min. walk to the rooftop restaurant for breakfast because the view is amazing from there. The breakfast offered wide variety of products and meals, with porridge and some things for sandwich ( cheese, ham or marmalade/nuttella, home-made yogurt). There were also couple of positions a la carte and lots of sweet options. Coffee was also of great quality. I can’t comment on most of the meals because I am vegan and none of the meals a la carte was vegan, also it was possible to eat a sandwich only with marmalade or tomato/pepper for me the rest was just cheese and ham. I saw many people including my partner enjoyed that a lot, but if you are following vegan diet it may be cheaper to skip the breakfast option and buy yourself pack of oats and fruits because coffee is in the room anyway. However, the restaurant view was outstanding and I quite enjoyed that restaurant anyway. They always had a plant based milk so at least a porridge and fresh maracuja. The roof jacuzzi looked autor louring but I didn’t used it, bathing robes are included though as well as a daily ticket to natural swimming pools. We preferred a bit more the cachalote pools that were nearby so didn’t use the it but is is a very nice option closer to the hotel. The hotel also offers spa and massage if someone wish, as well as a little cowork area if you work remotely. WiFi was also excellent. In general, it was excellent and I would totally recommend to everyone to stay there.

Guests can also relax the spa & wellness centre where a sauna and massage therapies are provided. Beautiful views, friendly and attentive staff, very nice breakfast. We were there at the beginning of January and were able to enjoy the outdoor pool and ocean views. We had a car (which we recommend so you have the freedom to explore the whole island) and there is free parking available below the hotel on the street with a lift up to the hotel. We will definitely book in again if we come back to Madeira.

All rooms at the hotel feature cable TV, free WiFi and a private bathroom. The pictures do not do the property justice, it’s an amazing place to stay, from the moment you walk in the door you feel cozy in a very spacious setting. And the staff, they were all just wonderful, specially Margerida at front desk. Also, it’s a great location to do some exploring in the area and it’s near to different hiking trails (by car).

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. The guest house has a sun terrace and a hot tub. It was a lovely room. The kitchen and coffee maker were nice to have. The grocery store was close by and Sao Vicente was also easily accessible from this location.

Beautiful view from the terrace with pool. Rooms build into the rock. We were there for honeymoon and it fully met our expectations.
