The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was a decent size, with great views of the sea and mountains. The facilities were very good, with an indoor and an outdoor pool. The view from the cliffs was amazing. Breakfast was excellent, with friendly hotel staff and a good selection of breads, cereals, cooked food, fruit, cheeses and so on.

Guests can also relax the spa & wellness centre where a sauna and massage therapies are provided. Super location, high on a cliff overlooking the town and ocean. An easy walk through the town and to the waterfront. The meals were excellent. For breakfast you can have the buffet or order cooked items from a menu, or both. The dinner menu is outstanding with a wide range of options for fish, meat, and vegetarian, and everything we had was delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our room had a small balcony with a view overlooking the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and the firm pillows we requested were perfect.

The roof terrace sports a infinity pool, massage facilities and a 20-metre hot tub with views of Fort São João and the mountains. For further relaxation, Hotel Vine’s spa offers vinotherapy. I liked how central it is to go to the main city and departures to all the attractions. And the staff, the staff was superb. Very friendly welcoming staff. Beautiful rooftop pool area, relatively small but somehow not crowded, perfect for relaxing. Overall, a very pleasant seaside hotel.

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. The guest house has a sun terrace and a hot tub. It was a lovely room. The kitchen and coffee maker were nice to have. The grocery store was close by and Sao Vicente was also easily accessible from this location.

We really liked everything in this beautiful place. Castelo is full of comfort and very unique with amazing hills and ocean views.

The Goat's Place provides a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 2.8 km of Palmeiras Beach and 16 km of Marina do Funchal. It is located 26 km from Santana's Traditional Houses and features a shared kitchen. The homestay offers sea views and a sun terrace. I never leave reviews but The Goat was amazing! Had the best time, the space and facilities were amazing..we spent some time in the hot tub and some time on the deck having dinner..Antonio and Jorge were amazing hosts, we really enjoyed chatting with them and getting tips on the best ways to experience Madeira.
