It is also a short walking distance to the two most popular temples in old town Chiangmai. We were particularly pleased and pleasantly surprised when the long road next to the hotel was turned into a night shopping street (apparently this is done every Sunday). Right outside the Old City Spa, is a stand alone travel & tours outlet which sells all the famous Chiangmai day tours at a discount. You cannot find anything cheaper elsewhere. This hotel really has every advantage in terms of location. We also love our room. It is quite big and very clean. The beds are comfortable, and the block out curtains helped us have a good night sleep. But the best part of The Old City Rooms is the kindness of the owner. They responded to all our queries in a timely manner, accommodated all our requests, made sure we are always comfortable, and in our last day they even allowed us to use the shower after our day tour before our flight even if it was way beyond check out time (we we're also lucky nobody booked the room for that day so we were allowed to check out late). When you stay at this hotel, do not miss the spa experience, which they offer for guests at a huge discount. Amazing spa facilities. We enjoyed everything especially the ice plunge. This hotel is highly recommended and will be my only go-to hotel every time I'm in Chiangmai.

The staff were all amazing, kind, helpful and all went above and beyond. The breakfast was full of variety and staff always ready to help. I give 5 gold stars to everyone working there.

It feels so welcoming from the moment you arrive, probably the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at and for the price was incredible. We slept so well, they have really comfy large beds and the sounds of the wildlife at night made it so peaceful. Breakfast was amazing and is freshly cooked in front of you (mango sticky rice was my favourite!) It was like a little oasis in the city, so calm and peaceful. Staff are really friendly and always smiling. It's also in a really nice location just far enough away to be peaceful but very cheap taxi to the centre and various night markets. We would definitely come back and highly recommend anyone to book.

It overlooks the night market, which means its nice and quiet during the day and lively and colorful at night. It is walking distance to the old city and to many excellent restaurants. The staff is extremely friendly. Would like to call out concierge Krit: he was exceptionally forthcoming with help and information.

Amazing stay, had high expectations but it exceeded. Really peaceful and beautiful everywhere. Highly recommend to do the activities offered. Breakfast is excellent. Gym equipped with new Technogym.
