The lodge is just a magical place, you must see the waterfall, it's fairy grotto heaven! The room was spectacularly well-appointed, and the breakfast and the other guests were wonderful. The three dogs are really friendly and so is the cat! The frog chorus was a surprise but not intrusive, even next door's cockerel was well-mannered and waited till nearly 7 before announcing his presence. If you read a negative review of this place that person has no soul and should be confined to staying in Days Inns!

A French press coffeemaker and tea infusers are available. The view was spectacular!! A large outdoor wet edge spa was heated to a lovely temperature with robes and towels supplied. What a wonderful way to relax at the end of a busy day traveling the coast. Having direct access to the beach down the private stairs was also a huge bonus. We love, love, loved the hotel and would highly recommend the hotel.

Rooms at The Wayside Inn include a smart TV with cable and suites include a sofa. The warmly decorated rooms are comfortably furnished and include a fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. It was clean, comfortable and specially the location. Right across the cannon beach.

Surfsand Kids club allows children to experience a number of crafts and activities. Highly recommended - couldn't have asked for more! Great location right next to the beach and view of Haystack Rock. Free shuttle service to the town area (but actually it's just 10 minute walk away). Friendly staff and wonderful check-in process (welcome drink, free cookies). The room was in great condition with a great shower/bathtub and complete basic facilities. Many amenities including a pool. Free parking. Good value for money. Would definitely stay again next time.
