Hotel Blini is a fantastic hotel with modern, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a/c. But more than that, the whole family and staff were so friendly and genuinely wanting to assist in any way to make sure our stay was perfect. The location is out of town - but this is only positive!! The lovely terrace is lively with locals stopping by on their morning and evening cycle route for coffees and homemade icecream. It's just wonderful to be a part of. The breakfast was excellent and we ate delicious dinners, trying all the vego fare. They arranged the bus to Valbone for us and charged a very small fee to store our bikes and luggage safely. Highly recommend!!!!

Nice hotel on top of a hill which gives you an amazing view on the river and the countryside around. Comfortable and spacious room. The staff was kind and their restaurant is delicious (think about booking a table as it's full on weekends). The hotel has an indoor swimming pool. Very quiet at night. Amazing breakfast

Stella who owns this small boutique hotel is wonderful. Very prompt with messaging and answering questions. She gave very detailed instructions to access the entrance and even moved her car for us so we could park right out front. The room itself is extremely clean, brand new and modern, whilst feeling very homely and inviting. The finishes are detailed and the room well styled. Even better than the photos show! Most importantly the bed was THE COMFIEST we have had in the whole of Albania so far. The hotel is right next to a lovely park and is an easy 10min walk through the pedestrian only area to the main strip of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars in Shkoder. And to top it off, breakfast (included) is served sit down at the lounge across the road or packed to take if you are heading out early. We loved our stay so much we have decided to book another night after coming back from our hiking in Theth and Valbone. Thank you very much for a hospitality.

    Bring your best camera and enough time to sit and enjoy the panoramic views in 360°. It is an absolutely stunning view from there of the valleys, mountains, multiple rivers converging, the many many iterations of Rozafa Castle itself, and Shkoder Lake beyond. It's just incredibly beautiful!

    If coming by car it's better to leave the car at the lower...

    If coming by car it's better to leave the car at the lower parking (near the souvenir shops) than to drive all the way up to the ticket booth because the way is narrow, steep and slippery and there is no guarantee you'll find a parking place there. Even if there are no too many things to see in the castle, you can still pass at least two hours exploring various ruins and admiring the views. There is also a small museum (separate ticket) and a restaurant.
