As other reviews have highlighted, Cuong the Manager went out of his way to ensure our stay went well He was organised and efficient and always had a welcoming smile We were able to rent a motorbike and organise transfers through Cuong Room by the pool was great which was cleaned daily A cooked breakfast was also available which was tasty and also free bikes to explore Luang Prabang We found this a great place to stay at an affordable price

Actually, this place is the best I've ever been to...like a hidden gem, a true sanctuary on the Mekong riverbank. Henry, the owner is caring and funny, and the whole staff is just like family. Once you visit Luangprabang, you should stay here. Spacious and cosy rooms, spotless clean, great breakfast.

Although outside of the main area, Madilao hotel was perfect - very quiet, clean and comfortable with a lovely swimming pool and grounds and a good restaurant. It is only 10 minutes by taxi to the night market and the airport.

Beautifuly rebuffed colonial building with a nice view over the Nam Khan river. Nice location relatively calm, and a few minutes away from the best attractions in town. Rooms spotless clean and well furnished. Most of all: Mr Bo makes the whole experience in his hotel blissful, he always says yes to anything you ask (funny paradox when you know "bo" in Lao means: no) and always joyful.
