Everything! I'm a 52 year old experienced traveller and I can honestly say this hostel ranks as the best I've ever stayed in! The decor is classy, and functional, I would love to have a home this cool! The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, the owner Andrea who checked me in was so helpful and and welcoming! The location is perfect, slap bang between the bus station and the main Plaza in the centre of the town so not too far for either! The breakfast was excellent and plentiful! The whole ambience of the place makes all the guests so relaxed and in turn makes it so easy to talk and get to know your fellow travellers! I've never got to know so many people in anyother hostel than here! This ain't a party hostel, I do like a party don't worry about that I'm Scottish, but I didn't feel that I needed to party within or missed it at all such was my enjoyment of my stay here! HIGHLY IMPRESSED, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! GO! VAMOS! 11 stars!

Very nice mansion in a very good state with lots of place to sit and relax, with possible imagination to go back in time. Very good breakfast inside the house on open place, but in case of rain there is no problem as they have many tables/chair undercover. Location is perfect in centre of Merida with close by enough interested place to see and eat. Rooms are with very high sealing, but room has very powerful AC and room isdecorated in old style with all details as in the past, even the doors and windows.

Location, location, location! Reception staff, restaurant staff and owners were all wonderful... they are the reason we return to Mexico year after year. Our room was large, clean, well appointed and usually quite (a band playing illegally nearby was a bit noisy one night but by 10pm it was closed down). Staff really helped with directions and suggestions for restaurants, etc. One of the better breakfasts we have been offered, with plenty of refills on the coffee. Pool was clean and refreshing after a long day touring. Juste loved the location... close to main square and accessible to the ADO Bus terminal. Just wonderful.

What to say, this hotel is fantastic. The room is big and full of comforts like very high quality and bio products to wash yourself, a hairdryer, a night-gown. Bed was one of the best I have ever slept on. The pool is nice and calm and offers some relax and escape from the hot weather. Breakfast was also fantastic and staff was very attentive and nice to us. We really felt pampered even if we stayed only one night.

The stay was absolutely exceptional! The owner was one of the nicest hosts we ever had - he gave us a huge amount of helpful recommendations and helped us to plan our further trip. Whenever we entered the reception area he invited us to have a small drink or a (very good) coffee with him and either gave us some more travel tips or just asked how our day was. The hotel itself is charming and full of plants. Everything is spotless and well maintained. The rooms are of good size and the mattresses are extremely comfortable. Even though there is no private parking - the area is very safe and we never had a problem to find a parking spot very close to the hotel. All in all - The best Hotel that we had until now in the Yucatan peninsula!
