We had a great stay at this hotel. While the location is great and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful, what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff. They were wonderfully welcoming and helpful. Definitely recommend, truly an exceptional place!!

Gabriel from the reception helped us with any issue or question we had. Property is located very close to a lot of interest points, restaurants, metro, train station, bars. Property was clean and comfortable and the breakfast had plenty of options and was very tasty (go for the carrot cake with orange every time you see it!).

The Casa de São Mamede is a small hotel sited in a renovated 17th century building. The unit is centrally located in Lisbon and has the Rato Metro Station at a 4-minute walking distance.

I loved everything! Charming historic building, beautifully decorated and furnished. I loved my room: it was large, stylish and very comfortable. Large and perfectly clean bathroom. The location of the hotel is also ideal: just a few minutes north of the charming Bairro Alto with restaurants etc. Across the street from the beautiful church of Sao Mamede (take a look inside). And just 3 or 4 minutes walk from metro station Rato. On my next visit to Lissabon I will definitely stay here again!
