As someone with mite allergies, I often face challenges with hotel beds, but at Clarion Draken, I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was not only soft and inviting, but also allergen-free, ensuring a comfortable and sneeze-free night’s sleep. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the view from the hotel. Positioned perfectly to overlook the city, we enjoyed a spectacular view of the Gothenburg fireworks. It felt like we had front-row seats to the city’s celebrations, all from the comfort of the hotel. Adding to the experience was our time spent at the rooftop bar. The ambiance was perfect for ringing in the New Year, with a selection of drinks that catered to all tastes. It was a great place to relax and soak in the festive atmosphere. The next morning, we were greeted with an extensive breakfast buffet. The variety and quality of food available were impressive, catering to a wide range of dietary preferences and tastes. It was the perfect way to start the new year. Lastly, the ease of checking in and out added to the seamless experience. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, which made the stay feel comfortable from the start. The location is very convenient — just a short walk from the train station (we arrived from Stockholm and easily came by foot), and only about 10 minutes to reach the restaurant and city center area. I also loved the design of the hotel, especially the lobby, where I worked for a couple of hours in a relaxed atmosphere. Considering the service, comfort, and easy access to Stockholm, the hotel offers excellent value for the price.

The lobby, restaurant, and room were all charmingly decorated and very cozy. The room was a good size for us, and comfortable. The hotel is nicely located, near transit and the main shopping areas. Breakfast was also quite good.
