EVETY SINGLE THING! BEST PLACE IN ZANZIBAR!!!

What an absolute gorgeous gem of a hotel in Stone Town. Truly authentic building and decor and incredible bedrooms. I stayed in the ‘Kate’ room which was utterly delightful. Beautiful private terrace overlooking the town, enormous bedroom (beautifully decorated) and an open-air bathtub adjoining. Super private. Gorgeous to wake up in the morning and open the doors and feel the breeze filter through. Beautiful bed linen and towels (woven locally) and handmade soaps. If you are into aesthetics, then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough to rate the hotel. All the staff were absolutely delightful and super attentive (as a single female traveller it was very much appreciated). The Manager was extremely kind and friendly. Also organised a fantastic private tour of the town for me which was brilliant. The rooftop restaurant is to die for. The best, authentic and freshest of food I have ever eaten.The taster plate experience with sunset and cocktails was dreamy. Amazing views and ambiance. Didn’t want it to end! The Secret Garden restaurant is also absolutely worth a visit. I attended on a Friday evening when there was live music being performed. Truly magical. Again, the food was just amazing and the staff all super kind.

The VVIP Premium service. We were upgraded to the top of the range Lagoon suite. Our Butler Edwin made sure we had everything we needed. Overall staff were excellent, friendly and professional. This is by far the best vacation we ever had.

The staff is very welcoming and the hotel is in a perfect location. Outdoor pool was great and so is the breakfast at rooftop restaurant. Overall highly recommended

It had character and style. The situation looking over the harbour and near stone town was perfect. Our room looked over the swimming pool with a balcony which was lovely. The beds very comfortable too. The breakfast was second to none. I especially enjoyed the fruit selection and freshly made omelettes. We also enjoyed evening meals watching the sun set over the harbour.

Everything. This place was BEAUTIFUL. The decor and feel was amazing, check in and out was easy, good wifi, little balcony, amazing bathroom with good water pressure. I really appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities and the fact that they used refillable products in the bathroom and offered a filtered water to fill jugs/bottles, rather than more plastic. Breakfast was also excellent, as were the staff. The only disappointing thing was that we weren't staying longer.
